How are the products packaged?
We package everything in FDA approved clear bags with twist tie closures.
How do I store my herbs and spices?
Store herbs, spices, and teas in a cool, dry, and dark place. A well-sealed glass jar inside a cabinet works well!
What happens if a product is out-of-stock?
Though we make every attempt to keep the website current, occasionally a popular item will sell out before the page has been updated. If you have placed an order and an item is out-of-stock, we will inform you promptly and refund the payment. We will request that you place a new order when the item returns to inventory, as we are not back-ordering items for shipping at a later date.
Are your products certified organic?
We do not carry any certified organic products at this time. We plan to expand our product line in the future.
What does C/S mean?
C/S describes a product that has been cut and sifted. This preparation involves finely chopping the product and then separating and removing particles that are too small. The result is a dried product with particles ranging from approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size with minimal powdered reside. This ensure a consistent texture ready for immediate use.
Can you source products that aren't listed on your website?
If you are looking to place a bulk order for something unlisted, please contact us. We may consider adding the item to our product list!
Are the products considered ready to eat?
At this time, all products are intended for further processing.
Shipping & Returns
Where do you ship?
Herb Retailer is now shipping to the contiguous United States. We cannot ship to Hawaii and Alaska yet.
How long will it take to get my order?
We ship orders from the warehouse within 48 hours of being received. At this time, all orders are shipped via UPS Ground and will take 1-7 business days to arrive. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. We plan to expand these options as we grow, so please check back in the future.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Our shipping rates are based off UPS Ground live rates, the destination zip code, and the total weight of the shipment. The quickest way to see your shipping rate is to use the online shopping cart. Add the items you want, click checkout, and fill in the shipping address to see your shipping rate. This can be done without placing the order!
Where can I find my tracking information?
After the order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with the UPS tracking number.
What if I received the wrong item(s) or my order was damaged?
Please contact us regarding any problems with your order.
Will you ship to a PO Box?
At this time, we do not offer shipping to a PO Box.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time. Please check back in the future.
Do you allow local pick-ups?
We do not have a storefront or local order pickup capability at this time. All orders much be placed online and will be shipped.

Who qualifies for wholesale pricing?
Wholesale pricing is offered to verified businesses wanting to order in large quantities. Please fill out the wholesale application for consideration.
How long does it take to process a wholesale application?
The process takes approximately 7-10 business days and requires prompt answers to Herb Retailer questions and documentation requests.
