Ordering
Do I need an account to place an order?
No. Retail customers can shop and check out without creating an account. Creating an account can make it easier to review orders and manage your information.
Approved wholesale customers should log in before shopping to see their wholesale pricing.
Are the prices shown per pound?
Most products are sold and priced by the pound unless the product page states otherwise. Review the product title, price label, and quantity information before adding an item to your cart.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible. We begin preparing orders promptly, so changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered processing.
What happens if an item becomes unavailable after I order?
Although we work to keep inventory current, an item may occasionally become unavailable before the website updates. If this happens, we will contact you and refund the unavailable item.
We do not typically hold orders for backordered products.
Can you source a product that is not listed?
Possibly. If you need a botanical product or preparation that is not currently in the catalog, contact us with the product name, desired preparation, and estimated quantity.
Products
How are products packaged?
We package everything in FDA approved clear bags with twist tie closures.
How should I store herbs and spices?
Store herbs, spices, and teas in a cool, dry, and dark place. A well-sealed glass jar inside a cabinet works well!
Are your products certified organic?
We do not carry any certified organic products at this time. We plan to expand our product line in the future.
Are the products ready to eat?
At this time, all products are intended for further processing.
What does C/S mean?
C/S describes a product that has been cut and sifted. This preparation involves finely chopping the product, then separating and removing particles that are too small. The result is a dried product with particles ranging from approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size with minimal powdered reside. This ensure a consistent texture ready for immediate use.
What does wildcrafted mean?
Wildcrafted indicates that the botanical material was gathered from its natural environment rather than cultivated as a conventional crop. Wildcrafted does not automatically mean certified organic.

Shipping
Where do you ship?
Herb Retailer is now shipping to the contiguous United States. We cannot ship to Hawaii or Alaska yet.
How long will it take to get my order?
We ship orders from the warehouse within 48 hours of being received. At this time, all orders are shipped via UPS Ground and will take 1-7 business days to arrive. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. We plan to expand these options as we grow, so please check back in the future.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Our shipping rates are based off UPS Ground live rates, the destination zip code, and the total weight of the shipment. The quickest way to see your shipping rate is to use the online shopping cart. Add the items you want, click checkout, and fill in the shipping address to see your shipping rate. This can be done without placing the order!
Where can I find my tracking information?
After the order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with the UPS tracking number.
What if I received the wrong items or my order was damaged?
Please contact us regarding any problems with your order.
Will you ship to a PO Box?
At this time, we do not offer shipping to a PO Box.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time. Please check back in the future.
Do you allow local pickups?
We do not have a storefront or local order pickup capability at this time. All orders much be placed online and will be shipped.
Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes! Verified businesses can apply for access to Herb Retailer’s wholesale program.
Who qualifies for wholesale pricing?
Wholesale pricing is offered to verified businesses wanting to order in large quantities. Please fill out the wholesale application for consideration.
How long does it take to process a wholesale application?
The process takes approximately 7-10 business days and requires prompt answers to Herb Retailer questions and documentation requests.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Bulk orders are over 25lbs. For quotes on larger orders, please call (573) 550-4699 or contact us here.
I already have a wholesale account. Why am I seeing retail prices?
You must log in using the email address associated with your approved company account. Once logged in, the website will display the catalog pricing assigned to your company.
